| This a nice hunter compass made around 1920 and retailed by the Manufacturers & Distributers Syndicate Ltd (M.D.S. Ltd.). The case is Nickel and in excellent condition without dings or dents. It has a strong hinge and the lid springs open when the button is pushed. It has an attractive black bezel with a beveled glass crystal all in excellent condition without any chips or scratches. It is in full working order and pointing North very precisely. When the lid is closed the transit lock prevents the needle from moving to avoid wear to the pivot. It measures around 46mm in diameter. |
