| This is a nice WWI Leedawl compass in open face nickel compass. The case is in excellent condition without dings or dents. The face is stamped with Leedawl, Short & Mason, Taylor-Rochester, NY, PAT. JAN. 8-1918. Also marked on dial REG. US. PAT. OFFICE. The blue crescent needle points North very precisely. The compass has a transit lock for carry activated when the crown under the loop is unscrewed. It measures about 4.3 cm in diameter. This is a nice and quality compass that would make a great gift. |
